LGR 3500i Dehumidifier

    • WEIGHT: 160 LBS

The Dri-Eaz DrizAir LGR 3500i dehumidifier (F411) is built for the tough environments found in water damage restoration, construction, and rental use. It delivers 170 pints at AHAM at only 10.5 amps.

Delivering 170 pints at AHAM at only 10.5 amps, the LGR 3500i takes dehumidification to new heights. Built with the same restoration-ready, easy-to-transport design as the industry-leading 2800i, the 3500i delivers supersized performance and reliability. The 3500i is built for the tough environments found in water damage restoration, construction, and rental use. The rugged rotomolded housing and durable construction make this Dri-Eaz dehumidifier the number one choice.

Dri-Eaz dehumidifiers reduce humidity in enclosed structural environments by removing water vapor from the air. With proper use, your dehumidifier can help dry carpet, carpet pad, floors, walls, building contents and more. Using Dri-Eaz dehumidifiers can also help prevent secondary damage caused by high humidity. For best results, use your dehumidifiers with Dri-Eaz TurboDryer airmovers placed around the perimeter of the room to distribute heat energy and release moisture from wet surfaces into the air.

Dri-Eaz low-grain refrigerant dehumidifiers operate by pulling moist air in across a very cold evaporator core. The moisture in the air condenses on the coil. In certain conditions, the machine operates in defrost mode, warming any frost that has accumulated on the evaporator coil back into water. The water collects in a tray and is pumped out through a hose. Onboard sensors continually monitor environmental conditions and system operations of the dehumidifier, including temperature and relative humidity, which can be viewed on the display panel. The unit also transmits data to a HygroTrac gateway, which can store the information or relay it to the HygroTrac website (see below).

LGR (Low Grain Refrigerant) dehumidifiers have better heat exchange and defrost abilities than regular refrigerant dehumidifiers, and are able to continue removing moisture in drier environments.

The LGR "i-Series" dehumidifiers are equipped with HygroTrac wireless sensor technology. When used with the HygroTrac Remote Monitoring system, this technology allows the user to monitor site conditions and equipment performance in real time via the internet.

DriTec 4000i Desiccant Dehumidifier

Product Overview

Say hello to the smartest, simplest, and best performing compact desiccant dehumidifier on the market, the DriTec 4000i from Dri-Eaz. This innovative dehumidifier is 33% more compact than its closest competitor and uses desiccant drying technology to continue removing moisture even in low temperatures and low humidity conditions. Its versatile design allows for flexible setup in low-clearance spots and in ducted applications. Plus, it's rated to remove an impressive 118 pints of moisture per day in AHAM conditions (80 degrees F, 60% relative humidity). Count on this unit for high-volume drying in water damage restoration, structural drying, and construction drying applications.

Effective Low Temperature, Low Humidity Drying

The Dri-Eaz DriTec 4000i Dehumidifier (Model #F533) uses desiccant dehumidifying technology to perform reliable and high-performance drying in extremely low temperatures and low humidity conditions. Desiccant dehumidification uses a process called adsorption. During this process, humid air is drawn into the dehumidifier and passed over a desiccant wheel infused with silica gel. Excess humidity is adsorbed into the silica gel before leaving the dehumidifier as warm dry air. No water is collected or drained out, so there's no need to set up a draining system or empty a water tank.

Since the DriTec 4000i does not collect water and does not use a temperature-sensitive refrigeration system, it will continue removing moisture effectively in sub-zero temperatures. It also dehumidifies reliably in low humidity conditions, even down to 0% relative humidity. This system easily outperforms conventional refrigerant dehumidifiers in extreme unforgiving conditions.

Versatile Design To Suit Any Drying Task

Not only is the Dri-Tec 4000i from Dri-Eaz compact and effective in extreme conditions, it's also a marvel of versatility while you're on the job. The system can be operated in a vertical or horizontal configuration, which is especially ideal for low-clearance areas such as crawl spaces and similar locations.

Dri-Tec 4000i Ducting Options

This dehumidifier is also ductable with three ducting configurations possible. In all ducted configurations, be sure to duct the reactivation outlet to an outdoor location to ensure that the moist reactivation air stream is properly vented.

  • Option 1 - Duct the Air Inlet - Duct the colder and/or drier air of the space into the air inlet to help improve desiccant performance.
  • Option 2 - Duct the Process Outlet - Duct the process air outlet into hard-to-reach areas for distributed drying. You'll need to use layflat ducting for this configuration.
  • Option 3 - Ducting in Low-Clearance Areas - In a crawl space or another low-clearance area, you can operate the unit on its back. Duct the reactivation outlet outdoors and the duct the air inlet and process air outlet as you would in Options 1 and 2. You can also duct process air between floor joists for easier air distribution.

Additional Features

  • Onboard Humidistat - The adjustable humidistat allows you to set a desired relative humidity to maintain automatically.
  • Helpful Readouts - The digital display displays average pints-per-day removal along with real-time temperature and relative humidity percentage readings.
  • Multi-Language Display - Displays readings in English, Spanish, French, or German.
  • Digital Hour Meter - An onboard hour meter measures cumulative operating time and stores it when the machine is unplugged to help you track total job hours and plan maintenance schedules.
  • Efficiency-Boosting Technology - This unit uses a Positive Thermal Coefficient Heater for improved efficiency, safety, and a longer operating life.
  • Portability Features - Large rubber wheels and a rugged folding handle make for easy maneuverability.
  • Onboard Storage - A built-in compartment stores power cords and ducting components. Plus, the inside lid of the unit includes a quick guide for ducting setup.
  • 3M Particle Filter - A 3M High Airflow Filter (HAF) captures harmful particles, resists microbial growth on the filter surface, and ensures maximum airflow throughout operation.

Great for restoration and structural drying applications, the Dri-Eaz DriTec 4000i Desiccant Dehumidifier is a high-performance unit that removes moisture successfully even in sub-zero temperatures and low humidity conditions.

What Customers Love

  • Dries Dense Materials More Effectively - Desiccant dehumidifiers produce air at remarkably low relative humidity. This helps the unit pull bound water out of dense materials like hardwoods, plaster, and brick.
  • High Versatility - Operate the unit vertically or horizontally and duct it using 3 possible configurations to suit your needs.
  • More Compact than the Competition - This unit is 33% more compact than its closest competitor.

Things To Consider

  • Requires 2 Electrical Cords - This dehumidifier uses 2 separate 120-volt electrical cords that should be plugged into separate GFCI-protected outlets rated for at least 15 amps.
  • Clean and Replace HAF Filter - To maintain dehumidifier efficiency, you'll need to clean and replace the high airflow (HAF) filter regularly. You can vacuum it clean up to 3 times before you'll need a replacement.
