Quick and easy way to repair carpet. Take a piece of carpet out of the closet or from extra carpet the customer has and replace small stains or burns. Perfect for damaged carpet and a quick fix
To begin the repair, put the cookie cutter tool on the damaged location, press and twist until you’ve cut through the primary and secondary backing, but not the padding. Remove and discard the plug of broken carpet. Then cut a alternative patch from the leftover carpet piece from an inconspicuous area, for example from the closet. Cut the carpet from the back whenever possible.
Then, take away the protective backing within the adhesive disk and slip it in to the hole using the adhesive side facing up.
Check the direction of the carpet pile- the direction the fibers are laying in. The new plug should also have the
carpet pile laying in the same direction. Apply a bead of carpet glue round the hole (heavy) and firmly press the patch into position.

Use the roller to blend the fibers. Let the adhesive dry overnight, then vacuum the region to help blend carpeting.
